Privacy, terms and compliance

Privacy policy

This website is operated for business-to-business purposes. It is directed at licensed tobacco businesses, distributors, wholesalers and brand owners, and is not intended for consumers. The operator's registered office — a correspondence address — is Unit 11, 13/F, Block C, Wong King Industrial Building, 192–198 Choi Hung Road, San Po Kong, Kowloon, Hong Kong SAR, China.

What we collect

• Information you submit through the enquiry form: company name, contact person, business email, telephone number, country, business type, estimated volume, target market and the content of your message.
• Technical information generated by your visit, such as browser type and pages viewed, where analytics are enabled.

Why we use it

• To respond to your enquiry and to prepare commercial terms.
• To verify that an enquiry comes from a business authorised to trade the products concerned.
• To keep a record of the commercial relationship where one is established.

We do not sell personal data, and we do not use enquiry details for consumer marketing.

Legal basis

Where the EU or UK GDPR applies, processing is based on your legitimate interest in receiving a response to a business enquiry, and on the steps necessary to enter into a contract with us.

Retention

Enquiry records are retained for as long as needed to deal with the enquiry, and thereafter for 24 months from the last contact, unless a longer period is required by applicable commercial or tax rules.

Sharing

Enquiry details may be shared with manufacturing, logistics or service partners where that is necessary to answer the enquiry or fulfil an order. The site is hosted on our own hosting account; enquiry submissions are additionally written to a CSV archive held outside the publicly accessible web directory on the same server, and correspondence is handled through our own business email.

Your rights

Where the GDPR applies, you may request access to your personal data, its correction or erasure, restriction of processing, or object to processing. Requests can be sent to sales@clooxtech.com.

Cookies and analytics

This site uses a session storage entry to remember that the trade access notice has been acknowledged. We also use Google Analytics to understand, in aggregate, how visitors use the site (pages viewed, approximate region, device type). Analytics cookies are not set until you accept them in the consent notice shown on your first visit; if you decline, or do not choose, only aggregate measurement without analytics storage takes place and no analytics cookies are written. You can change your choice at any time by clearing this site's data in your browser. We do not run advertising or cross-site tracking, and analytics data is not used to identify individual visitors.

Terms of use

Eligibility

This website is provided for licensed tobacco businesses. By using it you confirm that you are of legal age in your jurisdiction and that you represent a business authorised to trade tobacco or nicotine products.

Territorial scope

ClooX is offered exclusively for export to markets outside Hong Kong in which heated tobacco hardware may lawfully be imported and sold. No enquiry will be accepted from, and no order will be fulfilled to, an address in Hong Kong, and no ClooX product is imported into, held, displayed or offered in Hong Kong. Nothing on this site is directed at consumers, or at any person in a jurisdiction where its publication would be unlawful.

Information on this site

Product descriptions, specifications and imagery are provided for trade evaluation. Specifications may change as the product is developed; the specification sheet issued with your quotation is the one that applies to the units supplied.

Intellectual property

The ClooX name, product designs, photography and site content are protected. They may not be reproduced or used in marketing without written permission.

Limitation

Nothing on this site constitutes an offer capable of acceptance, a warranty, or commercial advice. Supply is subject to a separate written agreement and to compliance checks.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region, and the courts of Hong Kong have non-exclusive jurisdiction, unless the parties agree otherwise in writing in the relevant supply agreement.

Compliance statement

Product status

ClooX is a heated tobacco product. It is not a smoking cessation product and is not presented as one. No reduced-exposure, reduced-risk or health-related claim is made for the device or for any technology described on this site.

What we do claim

All product statements on this site concern heating architecture, flavour experience, build quality, consumable efficiency and commercial supply. Where we describe the second session as fuller or more aromatic, this is a statement about the experience of heating the outer layer of the stick, not a claim about health.

Age restriction

Our products are not for sale to minors. Trade partners are required to operate age verification at the point of sale and at delivery where delivery sales are permitted.

Partner responsibility

Advertising, promotion, packaging, labelling, notification and taxation rules for heated tobacco products differ by country and change frequently. Partners are responsible for ensuring that their marketing, sale and distribution of ClooX products complies with the law of each territory they serve, and for holding the licences required to do so.
